Frozen fans left distressed as Olaf the snowman ‘revealed to be 5 foot 4’

Five foot four, you say? (Picture: DISNEY)

Frozen fans have had a bit of a meltdown (pun definitely intended) after finding out Olaf the snowman is five foot four.

We have so many questions.

After fans delved into research of everyone’s favourite kind-hearted snowman, voiced by Josh Gad, they were left with some pretty disturbing findings.

‘Olaf went with Anna and Elsa to the courtyard to greet the citizens, and wait for the Yule bell to arrive,’ a now-deleted entry on Frozen Wiki read. ‘While waiting he borrowed a ruler from a citizen, and found out he was 5 foot 4 inches.’

Some fans of the movie have been distressed to find out that the snowman is taller than them, and questions about how tall the rest of the characters are have come flooding in.

Have Elsa and Anna been Amazonians all this time? Who can say?

‘Just found out olaf is taller than me.. much to think about,’ one wrote, with another adding: ‘I CANNOT F***ING BELIEVE I AM SHORTER THAN OLAF I F***ING HATE THE LITTLE RUNT I’LL SNATCH HIS F***ING NOSE.’

Safe to say some aren’t taking the news too well.

‘I REFUSE TO BELIVE [sic] THAT OLAF IS TALLER THAN ME NO NO NO,’ another distressed fan said, with one asking: ‘IF OLAF IS 5’4 THAN HOW TALL ARE THE HUMAN CHARACTERS?????????’

People have a lot of questions (Picture: Twitter)

It’s not even the first time fans have been left terrified of a cartoon character due to their height, with Peppa the Pig previously being revealed to be seven foot one.

However, the news hasn’t had too much of an effect on the Disney movie sequel, which stars Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell, after it smashed $350 million (£271 million) in its opening weekend.

According to figures from Comscore, domestically in the US Frozen 2 took in $127 million (£98m) and $223m (£173m) overseas in its opening weekend, making a $350m (£271m) dent in the pockets of parents around the world.

In turn, it has now become the biggest ever opening for a Disney film. Tall Olaf would be so proud.
