A CLEVER mum is thinking inside the box by creating these themed packed lunches for her kids.
Jayne Hilpert, 47, came up with the idea when daughter Luella, 11, and son Thomas, seven, went back to school after five months of lockdown at home.
Canteen hot meals were cancelled due to Covid so the single mum wanted something to help cheer up her children.
Her themes have included The Grinch, A Nightmare Before Christmas, Halloween, an Xbox, unicorns and now Christmas.
She reckons they take only 15 minutes to prepare — but they have gone viral on social media.
Full-time legal assistant Jayne, from Ipswich, Suffolk, said: “It’s been such a hard year for all children.
“I wanted to put a smile on my kids’ faces so they know that I’m thinking about them.
“I always try and get a bit of fruit and veg in so there’s a nice healthy mix.
“I do use a lot of the same ingredients but in different ways – it’s quite amazing what you can do with cucumber, carrot and eggs.
“I’ve been quite surprised at the positive reaction I got online and it has been really nice.”
