THE Brit Awards have become well known for their outrageous blunders.
We take you through the best of these iconic moments – which some celebrities would rather forget…
Jarvis Cocker’s Michael Jackson stage invasion
Who could forget the moment that Jarvis Cocker stormed the stage in 1996 as the late Michael Jackson’s performance.
While the King of Pop performed Earth Song, the Pulp frontman jumped up on stage and pointed his bottom at the singer, before being removed by security.
He later claimed he’d been upset by the pop icon’s choice to make himself appear Christ-like during the performance.
After the show, Jarvis was arrested, as he was accused of hurting three of the children on stage.
He was subsequently released without charge.
Geri Horner’s boob flash
In 1997 the Spice Girls were at the top of their game, which also saw them win their first Brit Award.
But for an excitable Geri Horner – known then as Geri Halliwell – that night will be remembered as the moment she flashed her boobs to the world.
After wowing the audiences in THAT iconic Union Jack dress, Ginger Spice made a quick change into a busty Jessica Rabbit style red sequinned dress.
Unfortunately the gown couldn’t control her breasts, and as soon as she raised her arm in the air, out they popped for the audience and viewers at home to see.
Chumbawamba throwing water over John Prescott
One of the most memorable moments has to be in 1998 when Chumbawanba threw a bucket of iced water over Labour MP John Prescott.
Despite the fact the record label apologised, the band weren’t sorry for their actions.
They later said: “If John Prescott has the nerve to turn up at events like the Brit Awards in a vain attempt to make Labour seem cool and trendy, then he deserves all we can throw at him.”
Brandon Block’s Ronnie Wood stage invasion
In 2000 a drunk Brandon Block was left red-faced after his friends tricked him into thinking he had won a Brit Award, so he stormed the stage to accept “his award”.
However, this did not go down well with Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood who was in the middle of introducing Soundtrack of the Year with Thora Birch.
After slurring into the microphone, Brandon was escorted off stage.
However, when Ronnie aimed an insult at him, he broke free from security and squared up to the ageing rocker, who then threw a drink in his face.
Adele sticking her fingers up
Adele was certainly ticked off when her acceptance speech in 2012 was cut off by host James Corden to make way for a performance from Blur.
As she thanked the fans for her gong, a sheepish looking James said: “I’m so so sorry, I can’t believe I’m going to do this…”
Realising that she was basically being told to get off stage, she said, “Oh alright, I’m sorry and I’ll see you this time next year!” before turning round and sticking her fingers up in the air.
Madonna falling over on stage
Last but no means least who could forget Madonna’s epic fall during her Brits performance in 2015.
It all went horribly wrong for the Queen of Pop when she came out on stage dressed as a Matador for a performance of Living For Love.
Unfortunately a dancer stood on her cape and she took an embarrassing tumble for all the world to see.
