‘Freddie Mercury’s Queen through CEILING since Bohemian Rhapsody, it’s CRAZY’ Adam Lambert

Last year, the Freddie Mercury biopic hit cinemas but was met with lukewarm reviews from the critics. And yet Bohemian Rhapsody went on to make over $900 million at the box office and stormed the Academy Awards winning more Oscars than any other movie in 2019.

Following the huge success of Bohemian Rhapsody, Queen and Adam Lambert announced their Rhapsody tour and completed the first leg in North America earlier this year.

While in 2020, Queen’s 50th anniversary year, the collaboration with Brian May and Roger Taylor takes them to Asia, Down Under and across Europe including the UK.

Lambert appeared on Lorraine yesterday morning where he enthused joyfully of touring following Bohemian Rhapsody.

He said: “It is like the gift that keeps on giving.”

Lambert added: “I think that that’s one of their great things as a band.

“They were able to write music that would stand the test of time.

“And it reached everybody. They’re very universal songs.

“They’re about the human experience: love and loss and longing. These are things we all understand.”

On Queen being a family, the singer said: “They are, they really are.

“I mean we travel together, we dine together. We’ve been on the road for eight years.

“Well, working together for eight years, our first big tour was 2014.
