Fred the Godson dead: Rapper dies days after contracting coronavirus aged 35


A year later, he released the Ganga Grillz mixtape City of God, which featured PUSHA-T, Diddy and Meek Mill.

Back in 2017, he discussed his aspirations to sign to a major record label and said he almost signed to DefJam.

The rapper said the deal fell through when Jay-Z left the label.

Speaking on Hot97, Sway in the Morning, he said: “I’m not saying I’m the best rapper in the world.

“I just know I’m better than a lot of the s**t that’s out now. Sometimes, you just think, ‘What the hell’s going on?’”
