Frank Lampard insists Ross Barkley will not be leaving Chelsea after the midfielder was linked with a move to West Ham earlier this week.
David Moyes’ side reportedly made an enquiry to sign Barkley on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Barkley has made just seven Premier League appearances for Chelsea this season and was warned by Lampard after he was pictured dancing topless in a nightclub in November.
But the Chelsea manager has ruled out the possibility of Barkley joining West Ham this month.
‘There’s no talk here of Ross Barkley going anywhere – he’s our player,’ said Lampard.
‘He’s played the last couple of games and done very well.
‘There have been certain circumstances where Ross hasn’t featured as much this year but I’ve got a lot of faith in Ross.
‘So that was news I heard just like everyone else, but there’s absolutely no feeling towards that. I’m very happy with him.’
