Fortnite update 11.30.1 patch notes: Epic Games release new update after Star Wars event

Fortnite update 11.30.1 has been released by Epic Games the day the big Star Wars event took place, and if you’re looking for patch notes the dev has detailed what’s in the new update.

Fortnite update 11.30.1 has been released on the PS4, Xbox One and PCs today the day after the Rise of Skywalker screening at the Risky Reels cinema.

The latest Fortnite live event was billed as debuting a screen from the latest Star Wars film in Fortnite Battle Royale.

But the event also surprised Fortnite fans by bringing with it lightsabers to Battle Royale as well as introducing new Star Wars themed challenges.

Fortnite fans also reported major server issues around the time of the Star Wars live event with players experiencing issues logging in.

The day after the big Fortnite event Epic Games has added a surprise update which is available right now.

Epic Games has simply said that the latest Fortnite patch addresses “stability issues” in the game.

The Fortnite Status Twitter posted: “We’ve released patch v11.30.1 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC to address stability issues.”

They also added: “We have temporarily disabled the DirectX 12 beta. Thank you for participating — we’ve gained valuable information. We’re going to make some improvements and re-open the doors in early 2020.”

Fortnite update 11.30.1 follows hot on the heels of the release of Fortnite update 11.30 earlier this week.

In case you’re wondering then here is the Fortnite patch notes for that download…
