Fortnite update 11.11 patch notes: New content, fixes, changes, tweaks and downtime NEWS

Fortnite fans are counting down to the release of delayed update 11.11.

The latest Fortnite patch was originally scheduled to launch on November 12 at 8am UK time.

Unfortunately, however, Epic Games postponed the update at the last minue, but is yet to confirm a new time.

The most likely scenario is that Fortnite update 11.11 will launch on the morning of November 13. Expect the servers to go offline for downtime at 8am UK time.

Epic has been extremely secretive this season, choosing not to release full patch notes for any of the updates.

Fortunately, however, fans have a pretty good idea about what to expect based on Twitter teasers and planned fixes listed on Trello.

“If you can’t find true love in #SavetheWorld… then we’ll make our own!” reads an Epic tweet. “v11.11 is arriving tomorrow. This patch includes new content for Save the World and addresses some known issues in all game modes.

“Downtime begins at 4 AM ET (0800 UTC).”

This was followed by a second tweet confirming that the patch had been delayed on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android.

“Hi, everyone. We are postponing the release of v11.11. We’ll keep you updated regarding when it’s planned to release,” reads the follow-up post.

Judging by the early patch notes over on Trello, the new Fortnite update will fix multiple issues and make a few necessary tweaks.

One confirmed fix is for a cosmetic issue involving the Kitbash Outfit’s head which appears to be floating.

Epic will also fix a problem with the Magma Wrap looking different than intended, plus a problem with the gift wrap missing for gifted Battle Passes.

Elsewhere, Epic may potentially fix problems with reward descriptions displaying a locked icon.

“The View All Rewards screen may show the lock icon instead of the check mark icon above the description of unlocked rewards,” the studio explains.

The Skull Trooper Challenge is also rewarding players with Battle Stars, despite them no longer being available to level up the Battle Pass.

There are Push-to-Talk spectating issues with controllers, problems with boats destroying stairs and ramps, plus an issue with players respawning in Team Rumble with 1 HP.
