Fortnite Season 10 is fast approaching – and the rumour mill is going mad about what we can expect to see.
Here, we go through what we’d like to see in Season 10. And for the real Fortnite fans among you, we’ve gone a step further and looked into what Fortnite Season 11 has in store too.
Fortnite Season 10 Map
Mane__larsonYT from reddit believes that, since Season 9 has been focused on the map becoming a utopia, Season 10 could bring us the apocalypse.
There are rumours there that Fortnite Season 9 ends with a kaiju-inspired fight between Cattus and Doggus, which will leave the island in ruins. This would lead to use wandering about a wasteland throughout Season 10.
Countdown
According to Gfinity Esports, Season 9 started on the 9th May 2019 and is due to end shortly after the Fortnite World Cup – the Fortnite World Cup runs from the 26th-28th July.
With that in mind, we’re almost certain to see Season 10 begin the week after. The date can’t be tied down yet, however with this past season starting on the 9th May, we can assume it will release on the Thursday (1st August 2019).
There is further information that the Fortnite Season 10 release date will be on the 1st August, the Playstation store held an event for the launch of season 9 and clearly displayed the start and end dates.
Rumors of crossovers with worldwide themes including Netflix’s Stranger Things and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. If the past is anything to go by, previous crossover’s have been a massive success which sets a precedent for future seasons.

Expect to see a Fortnite Season 10 trailer around the 28 July – with Epic using the Fortnite World Cup to springboard off it.
When can I download it?
Going by previous seasons, the Fortnite Season 10 release time should be in the early morning for the UK at the usual patch time for Fortnite:
- UK: 9am (BST)
- Europe: 10am (CEST)
- East Coast US: 4am (EDT)
- West Coast US: 1am (PDT)

Previous seasons have shown that Epic Games do not fail in the imagination and creativity department.
Fortnite are sure to change the theme but are yet to disclose any information on what it may be. The community has been speculating on theories of a monster lurking in the next patch update. We can be sure it will be jam-packed full of creative features that will continue to engage with the players.

When does Fortnite Season 11 start?
A typical Fortnite season cycle runs for about 10 weeks. It’s likely we’ll see Season 10 start on August 1st 2019 as shown on the PS4 listing for Fortnite Season so we can expect to have Season 11 with us by the 10th October.
