Fortnite Claptrap: How to find Claptrap missing eye and return it, map locations revealed


Fortnite Claptrap missing eye is the focus of one of the Welcome to Pandora challenges that have gone live for the Mayhem event.

The Fortnite X Mayhem event has gone live today following the release of update 10.20 and sees a Rift Zone based on Borderlands’ Pandora open up.

This is in the Paradise Palms location, and to coincide with this a set of new challenges have also been released.

One of the most eye-catching Fortnite Pandora challenges is find Claptrap’s missing eye and then return it to him.

These challenges were leaked ahead of them officially going live in the season X Battle Pass by Lucas7yoshi.

This gave Fortnite fans plenty of time to figure out solutions to the Fortnite Pandora challenge.

And one of those that found the map locations needed to complete the Fortnite Claptrap missing eye challenge was YouTuber HarryNinetyFour.

In a video online they revealed the map location needed to collect Claptrap’s missing eye and then how to return it to him.

First up Fortnite players will need to collect Claptrap’s missing eye, which can be found in a building in Paradise Palms.

Head to the area between square H9 and H10 on the Fortnite Battle Royale map to find the building which has Claptrap’s missing eye.

To return it Fortnite players need to head to square G9 near the new Welcome to Pandora sign.

Claptrap can be found at the base of the sign, and you’ll be able to return his missing eye to him there.

• Complete any six challenges to unlock the reward

• Collect cash from chests and opponents in Pandora

• Eliminate opponents in Pandora

• Search chests in Pandora

• Find Claptrap’s missing eye and then return it to him

The Fortnite Claptrap missing eye challenge is part of the Fortnite X Mayhem event that went live today.

In a blog post the Fortnite team said: “Inhabitants of Pandora have found their way to Fortnite, and they brought with them the planet’s characteristic mayhem.

“Starting today until September 10, shoot and loot your way through the Pandora Rift Zone, take on themed Challenges for free rewards, and pick up the Psycho Bundle from the shop.”

They added: “The Pandora Rift Zone has appeared on the map, bringing its iconic planet look with an added bonus — if you go long enough without taking damage, you’ll generate Shield.

“There are some other surprises for you to discover as you wreak havoc in Pandora.”
