Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 secret revealed before Season 1 end date?

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 is set to include map changes, and it appears we know about one way ahead of its start time.

According to the latest reports, Epic Games is planning on changing a key location that gamers will know well.

Pleasant Park, one of a very few locations that have been in the game consistently from the start now looks to be on the chopping block.

It would make sense for Epic developers to do something a little different this time around, with fans getting bored of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1.

And removing Pleasent Park could be just one of a number of things Epic Games hopes to tweak for the release of Fortnite Season 2.

A new visual glitch has been spotted following the melting of the snow, making Pleasant Park looking dusty.

This could be just an internal problem that will be fixed by the development team in a coming patch.

But nothing so far has been posted to the Epic Games support page, where most glitches and issues are shared.

Many fans believe that this is just a visual glitch leftover from previous changes and isn’t something that’s indicating a future change.

But Epic Games are well known for putting in clues for their next big changes in Fortnite Battle Royale.

So even if nothing changes with Pleasant Park, we’re almost guaranteed something is being worked on for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2.

Fans have certainly had to wait a longer time than usual to see map changes made on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

And for now, gamers are having to sit patiently until they find more clues on what is coming next.

WHEN DOES FORTNITE CHAPTER 2 SEASON 1 END?

While some mystery still remains over the exact date, we now have a pretty gauge on when to expect the first seasonal changeover of 2020.

Epic Games began Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 1 on October 14, making it one of the longest-running segments of the game since it first adopted the current system.

And now it looks we have a good idea on when to expect things to be refreshed by Epic Games on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch and Mobile.

According to the latest reports, Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 will end on Saturday, February 15, 2020.

But for now, Epic Games has only stated that the Season 1 Battle Pass will be finished by February 6, 2020.

The Feb 15 date has been shared by data miners, who sourced the latest information from the Fortnite API.

So there is still wiggle room for this final date to change and for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 to end a little sooner.
