Former Virgin Money and Tesco Bank executive joins board of IndigoVision

Edinburgh-based security video specialist IndigoVision has appointed a former executive at Virgin Money and Tesco Bank as a new board member.

Vikki Macleod, 47, is currently a non-executive director of Zonal Retail Data Systems and acts as an adviser to a number of start-up and fledging businesses.

IndigoVision said Macleod has “broad experience” leading businesses in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors across the retail, technology, financial services, hospitality and marketing industries in Europe, USA and Southern Asia.

IndigoVision’s chief executive Pedro Simoes said: “With her near 30-year career rooted in software, data and digital transformation, Vikki will provide valuable support and challenge to the Board and to our product development teams in particular. I look forward to working with Vikki as we continue to develop more innovative products and grow our business”.

Macleod served as director of Insurance and New Partnership Product Development at Virgin Money between 2015 and 2017.

Prior to that she was head of trade at Tesco Bank in Edinburgh where she was responsible for home and life insurance products.

Earlier this month IndigoVision reported annual revenues up 9% to £35 million on the back of growing orders in the US.
