You’ve likely seen the feta pasta hack that’s taking over TikTok.

Now a food lover has come up with an equally simple recipe – that’s also a healthy option.

Mon Mack, from Brisbane. Australia, revealed how to make corn ‘ribs’ using a few ingredients likely to be found in many kitchens.

The now-viral trick requires little cooking time, meaning you could have these baked corn ribs in a matter of minutes.

All you’ll need is a corn cob, cumin, ground coriander, sweet paprika, smoked paprika, turmeric, natural yoghurt, salt and oil.

Mon said this dish is also an ideal side to having the whole corn on the cob, which can leave the residue on your teeth.

While Mon uses the whole corn and cuts quarter strips out of it. You can do the same, or opt for baby corn as a mini rib version.

Ingredients:

  • Corn cob
  • Cumin
  • Ground coriander
  • Sweet paprika
  • Smoked paprika
  • Turmeric
  • Natural yoghurt
  • Salt and oil

Method:

  1. Cut off the ends of the corn, leaving it in the microwave for 30 seconds. While you prepare the corn, pre-heat the oven to 220C
  2. Cut the corn into four strips, cutting it in the middle first then splitting each half into a quarter
  3. Combine all the spices in a bowl, add in a teaspoon of salt
  4. In another bowl, add oil to the corn strips, adding in the spice mix
  5. Once it’s well coated, line the corn ribs up on a baking tray and cook in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes
  6. Garnish with a bit of mayonnaise, or natural yoghurt, before sprinkling in some spring onions (and spice to taste).

Mon says in the video: ‘You know how whenever you eat corn on the cob you get stuff in your teeth? Yeah, well with these you don’t and I’ve gotta say, they taste even better this way.’

More than 350,000 people appreciated Mon’s clever snack hack.

Mon then tried the healthy dish, saying: ‘Super juicy, and just crispy on the outside.’

Don’t forget to pick up some corn on your next grocery shop.
