Ford Models Esports & Gaming Division Added to Save the Children Charity Stream Lineup

The Save the Children #GamingTuesday charity stream lineup will enlist the aid of the esports and gaming division of Ford Models to help raise money for this year’s two-week charity event. Ford Models will stream Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in conjunction with the organization that has already raised $500K USD since 2015.

The two-week “Giving Tuesday” for gamers initiative was launched by Save the Children in 2015 and is entering its second week of action for 2020. The Ford Model’s portion of the lineup will feature several of Ford Esports & Gaming talent, including Twitch streamers Drew “Frozone” Bienusa, Eric “CLipZ” Rivera, Paul “Rabies” Santoro, Ivan “OGKINGCURT” Curtiss, along with Avori “Avori” Henderson on Facebook Gaming

The #GamingTuesday 2020 event consists of the two-weeks that go between Tuesday, Nov. 24, through its completion on Tuesday, Dec. 8. This year’s edition of #GamingTuesday will include more than 100 gamers and for the first time, will be running across multiple streaming platforms including Twitch, Facebook Gaming, and YouTube Gaming. Fundraising takes place natively on these platforms and on the livestream fundraising platform, Tiltify. #GamingTuesday is also going global this year with activations planned in North America, Europe, and Asia.

The charity streams also give streamers the opportunity to fundraise and win prizes via “live streamed gaming marathons.” The event is supported by Save the Children’s Stream Team – a community of digital content creators including Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Hank and John Green, and many more, who have helped raise nearly $11M for the organization’s mission of giving children in the U.S. and around the world a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. This year’s edition of #GamingTuesday is also supported by Elgato who is providing fundraising rewards as well as a match up to $10K.
