FlyBe crisis as £100m bailout set to be rejected – finances to run out within WEEKS


Two months ago the UK government announced a package of measures to help rescue Flybe.

The potential loan was set to be part of this.

However, the carrier’s request has not met certain criteria set by the government, according to Whitehall officials.

Flybe is responsible for nearly 40 per cent of all domestic UK flights and carries more than 9m passengers annually.
