Floyd Mayweather has warned Conor McGregor he will ‘whip his ass again’ after the American legend’s uncle claimed talks were underway ahead of a possible rematch.

The Irishman swapped the UFC octagon for the boxing ring back in August 2017 but was comprehensively outclassed by his opponent who chalked up the 50th win of his professional career following a 10th round stoppage.

Mayweather is now said to be planning his return to the ring and is keen for a historic encounter against McGregor and the Irishman’s fierce rival Khabib Nurmagomedov in a sensational ‘day and night’ double header.

‘There have already been talks with Floyd and Dana White about making a deal,’ Jeff Mayweather told VegasInsider.com

‘Floyd is no longer the top of his sport, but he’ll beat both of them. He could beat both of them back to back, one in the day time, one in the night time – it doesn’t matter, they’d have no chance, it’s easy for him.

‘Floyd said one in the daytime and one in the night, it’ll be something that’s never been done before. Double pay-per-view, expensive a** buy.’

Mayweather is set to tour Europe as part of a media junket and after celebrating his 43rd birthday with a typically glitzy affair warned McGregor he’s ready to teach him another lesson.

He told TMZ: ‘ Man if they pay I’m there to play. And if they’re paying cash Conor I’ll whip your ass again.

‘I do what I do everywhere, I pick up money I get paid to tell my story.’
