Florence Pugh has defended Bella Thorne after the former Disney Channel star was targeted by trolls.

The Little Women actress, who has been entertaining fans with cooking videos during the pandemic, showed off a ravioli dish she’d made on Instagram.

Clearly impressed by the dish, Bella, 23, commented: ‘Omg please come over and make food.’

The star’s comment was then hit by a string of hurtful comments – and Florence wasn’t having any of it.

‘To all those negatively trashing Bella, I do not appreciate it or like seeing people being unnecessarily dragged on my page,’ the 25-year-old wrote.

‘My page has NEVER been about that and I don’t like seeing it.

‘I always appreciate your love but not at the cost of bullying someone else. Enjoy the ravioli!’

Valid points all round.

Fans were quick to agree, with one telling Florence: ‘AND THAT IS WHY I STAN YOU YOU QUEEN,’ and another adding: ‘Well said.’

Meanwhile, Florence has also been spending the pandemic with her boyfriend, Zach Braff, with the Scrubs star sharing a sweet tribute to her recently.

In a rare public display, the actor shared a series of photos of his paramour as she celebrated her special day.

The 45-year-old director blessed us with many a shot of the Black Widow actress, from hiking to the Hollywood sign, to them snuggled up on the couch.

In one photo, the pair pose atop a hill with Zach wrapping an arm around Florence, who is looking off into the distance with her arm outstretched.

The album came with a beautiful tribute, as he wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to the most fun person I’ve ever met.

‘I would have felt blessed to have smiled with you for one night. I can’t believe I get to giggle with you everyday.

‘What a pleasure it is to know you. What a gift to the world it was that you were born.’
