Flights: Passengers call for prison sentence when man is spotted doing “disgusting” act

Air travel is one of the most popular methods of getting across the globe, however, the difference between a good flight and a bad flight is often at the fate of who passengers find themselves seated beside. In one instance an unfortunate traveller found themselves sat just over from one man who caused shock with his “revolting” behaviour. Onlookers went so far as to demand a prison sentence for his actions, do you agree?

“That’s disgusting,” commented one user.

Another described the man’s behaviour as “revolting.”

One appalled passenger even went so far as to condemn the foot picker to “3 years imprisonment.”

The main concern of most viewers, however, seemed to be surrounding the hygiene of this behaviour in a public space.

“WHYYYY are people like this?” demanded one.

“I would have to start fake coughing in his direction in hopes he would stop or just stare at him in disgust,” someone stated.

Personal grooming on board flights is just one of the many things that leave aircraft passengers feeling nauseous.

A survey by holiday provider Broadway Travel unveiled British traveller’s top pet peeves, with one action coming out on top.

The “grossest” thing a passenger can do is reportedly “putting feet on the back of the chair in front of the bulkhead.”

It seems feet are the number one thing that bother travellers, with six of the eight indecent actions focussing on this body part.

Passengers were also shamed for removing their shoes, removing their shoes and socks, going to the bathroom barefoot or going to the bathroom in just their socks.

Meanwhile, travellers also shudder at the thought of clipping nails – be that finger or toenails- when in the sky.
