A plane traveller won the admiration of her fellow passengers as they hailed her a complete “genius.” The lady appeared eager to get some shut-eye to pass the journey, yet not at the expense of her mealtimes. While some plane passengers take a snooze as soon as they fasten into their chairs, others keep themselves occupied by reading or eating. Attempting to juggle grub with a nap, she pulled on a floral print eye mask as she sat in her chair.
She put a fleece neck rest on to add a spot of extra comfort.
Yet under no circumstances was she going to miss out on the food and drinks trolley that would soon wheel by.
In order to avoid forgoing her in flight snacks, she tagged a printed message to her neck rest, clipped onto the side.
Contained in a plastic wallet, it read: “Please wake me for snacks and drinks, thank you.”
The image was posted to Instagram page, Passenger Shaming, where it has gained more than 35,000 likes.
He took a picture of his unexpected behaviour and promptly posted to Instagram, where it has gained more than 16,000 likes.
It showed a female’s long, brunette ponytail hanging over the in0seat flight entertainment system.
The length of her locks meant the screen, which the man had playing to show a film, was partially masked, leaving him unable to enjoy it.
Threatening to take direct action, he pulled out a pair of nail scissors and hovered them over the ends of her hair, as it daring to chop the ponytail to size.
Yet it appears his antics were in jest, and he did not carry out the threat.
