Flight attendant shares hack to bring extra cabin bag on board 'They won't say anything!'

Airlines are very strict with their baggage rules and most policies state passengers can only bring one carry-on bag on board. That is to improve boarding and punctuality. However, there is one way passengers can bring one extra cabin bag for free.

Miguel Muñoz, a flight attendant who has been flying the skies for over six years, revealed what he likes to call the “duty-free hack.”

“Duty-free bags don’t count as carry-on baggage,” he said.

“So if you have something that doesn’t fit in your suitcase or you want to bring an extra bag on board, here’s the trick.

“All you have to do is carry a duty-free bag,” he revealed.

“Or ask for one at the duty-free shop.

“You place whatever you want in the shopping bag.

“And they won’t say anything!” he promised.

“There is obviously limited space.

“But at least you are bringing an extra bag to the plane cabin with you.”

He continued: “EasyJet for example has a very strict luggage policy and they only let you bring one small bag with you at no charge.

“So that is a small bag that has to fit under the seat.

“If you have a small purse or handbag, for example, they will make you place it in your carry-on luggage at the gate,” he explained.
