Flight attendant reveals how to get on the crew’s good side with one simple move

“You actually need to give them it because their job is tough and they have to deal with a lot of whiny people all day, not because you think it’ll get you something.”

Sometimes it can be nice to brighten up a crew member’s day with a small token of appreciation.

Though cabin crew aren’t allowed to accept monetary gifts or tips, there are other ways you can say thanks to the staff looking after you.

“If you want to go above and beyond, I recommend bringing a bag of assorted chocolate and giving it to cabin crew when you’re boarding,” recommends the crew member.

“I usually say something to the effect of, ‘I fly a lot and know your job is tough, so thanks for everything you do to keep us happy and safe.’”
