Vivienne (Francesca Annis) was whisked away to France with her new lover Mark (Stephen Rea), and as she left the house, she bumped into Mary who questioned her about her trip.
Moments after the car drove away, a delivery driver arrived at Vivienne’s house with a parcel, luckily Mary was outside and spotted him, offering to sign for the parcel and take it in for her.
However, the next scene showed her Mary boiling the kettle and steaming open the parcel to retrieve the item inside.
Taking it out of the box, it was a silk dressing gown, but the bizarre behaviour didn’t stop there as Mary later wore the item when having her dinner.
