Former GMTV presenter Fiona Phillips, 59, took to Twitter and revealed she was in bed with a “sore throat and a cough”. The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant warned fans not to “panic” after saying she had the coronavirus.
In view of her 33,000 followers, Fiona wrote: “I am in bed with #coronvirusuk.
“It’s not a very pleasant bedfellow, but nothing more than a sore throat, dry cough, headache & tiredness. As long as it stays that way….DON’T panic!”
Fans rushed to comment on the post, with many social media users offering messages of support.
