If you are currently obsessed with Emma Corrin as Princess Diana and you are looking to find out more about the People’s Princess, then look no further than Diana In Her Own Words on Netflix. The 90-minute explosive documentary features previously unaired footage in the UK of Diana speaking about the ups and downs of her life with Prince Charles. The footage was shot by Diana’s speech coach, former Coronation Street star, Peter Settelen, between 1992 and 1993 in the run-up to the royal couple’s divorce.

In further proof that the drama is even more piping hot IRL than on The Crown, ITV has just released The Diana Interview Revenge of a Princess on ITV Hub. The two-part documentary traces how Martin Bashir came to secure the interview of the century, Diana’s Panorama interview in 1995. In the interview, Diana famously said that there were, “three people in the marriage,” and publicly spoke about her bulimia for the first time.

The documentary includes an interview with graphic designer, Matt Wiessler who was reportedly asked by Martin Bashir to create fake documents that allegedly show payments from inside the Palace ‘establishment’ for surveillance of Diana to persuade the princes to take part in the interview. The focus of the documentary has resulted in the BBC launching an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the interview which has been welcomed by Prince William himself.
