Yes, a couple of shots went close, and there were some great saves from the goalkeeper, but with similar build-up play, there was nothing clear that suggested that FIFA 20 was going to offer anything different.

If someone had tuned into the stream at the point – they would have assumed that it was a game of FIFA 19 being played.
It’s an own-goal moment from EA, as they could have highlighted something much more prominent, like Volta, which would have been a greater spectacle for the live audience in London.
Advantage PES 2020
The demo of Konami’s PES 2020 was released last week and has gone down a hit with the community. Even FIFA streamers have picked up their controllers to broadcast the gameplay and incredible visuals of the new game.
With English giants Man United on board can PES battle FIFA?Starting with the exclusive rights of Juventus, PES have a great platform with partnership deals with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Arsenal, as well as exclusive rights of the Brazilian domestic setup.
With gamers allowed over a full month with the demo ahead of the full release, there is plenty of time for the community to make their decision, and with more partnerships being announced every week, PES have a great chance to tackle FIFA this year.

All on Career Mode?
The Pitch Notes deep dive into Ultimate Team came last week, but there was again nothing groundbreaking to get fans excited.
Last year’s skill games come to the mode this year in FUT Friendlies along with greater customisation and season objectives.
Get ready for Career Mode news coming this month There has been a reveal on Pro Clubs, but fans still want more – there looks to be plenty resting on Career Mode.
It looks like Career Mode or Volta Football will be the subject of EA’s Gamescom set, and with the manager mode not getting any reform in recent years, it is crucial they deliver it this time around.
