FIFA 20 dubbed most realistic ever – after Mohamed Salah shows off appalling dive in demo

FIFA20 has been labelled the most realistic football game ever after a video emerged showing Mo Salah performing a blatant dive when through on goal.

The latest instalment of the EA Sports’ phenomenon is released in the UK on September 24 but footage of the demo had fans in fits of laughter.

The clip shows the Egyptian sprinting towards the edge of the opponents’ penalty area with the ball at his feet before hurling himself to the ground completely unchallenged.

There was not a player within five yards of Liverpool’s talisman and fans online were quick to point out some similarities with real life.

SportBible posted the clip alongside the caption: “FIFA20 is so realistic that it even includes Mo Salah’s diving…”

And users on Reddit also saw the funny side with one posting: “Who says FIFA isn’t realistic,” while another added: “Seems realistic to me, just like real life.”

But xSuune took it one step further referring to Liverpool fans’ hatred of Sergio Ramos after the Spaniard’s tackle on Salah saw him taken off injured during the 2018 Champions League final.

The user posted: “Ramos did that… No dive!”

Salah was branded a diver in real life by Neil Warnock last season when the Egyptian went down very easily to win at penalty against Warnock’s Cardiff side.

There was also uproar among fans when Salah collapsed in the box after the lightest of touches on his arm against Newcastle – only for the FA to refuse to take retrospective action.
