Ferne McCann may be stepping into the New Year with a new man as a romance with a city trader looks to be heating up following a luxury holiday together.
The 29-year-old reality star is said to be growing close to 25-year-old Albie Gibbs after initially meeting over Christmas 2018, then growing close in recent months after catching up in Dubai.
And Ferne is now feeling confident enough to be speaking out over the new romance – and is said to even be planning a magazine photo shoot to celebrate their romance.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Ferne opened up about her new lover – although stopped short of calling him by his name as he is reportedly keen to keep himself out of the spotlight.
“There is someone new. It’s still very much in the background,” former Towie star Ferne teased in a column for the weekend paper.
“I’m enjoying dating but I won’t be spending Christmas with him. I’ll be with my friends and family,” she explained.
Ferne did, however, attend a birthday celebration for one of Albie’s family members – and took two-year-old daughter Sunday along with her.
Ferne’s romantic life has been high profile for all the wrong reasons as former boyfriend (and father to Sunday) Arthur Collins was jailed for 20 years in 2017 for committing a vile acid attack in a bust London nightclub.
The 27-year-old Arthur was found guilty of five counts of grievous bodily harm and nine of actual bodily harm at Wood Green Crown Court – and later admitted smuggling a mobile phone into prison so he could continue to communicate with Ferne.
A total os 22 people were left injured by Arthur’s attack at Mangel E8 club in Dalston.
Just days before the attack, Ferne had boasted to OK! magazine that she was in love with Arthur and planned to marry him – and then announced she was pregnant with his child two days after he was arrested for his crimes.
