Ferne McCann admits she is struggling with phobia following I’m A Celebrity appearance

Ferne McCann, 30, shared that appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has made her fear of snakes worse after facing a terrifying Bushtucker Trial. The First Time Mum star opened up on how the ITV contest has left her terrified as she took her daughter Sunday out for a day at a zoo.

Sunday was hoping to touch a snake, while Ferne was left cowering in fear on her ITV programme.

She yelped: “Get that away from me now!”

After taking a breather, she added: “Sorry, I’ve got a really big fear.”

The reality star later admitted she’s been haunted by her nail-biting challenge in 2015.

Speaking on the new format, Ferne told The Daily Star: “I’m so excited for this year. It’s going to be completely different.

“It’s going to be a novelty and very interesting to watch.”

As for advice on how they should make it to the final, Ferne shared: “I’d say enjoy it, have fun and make sure you chat and get to know the other campmates.

“They need to get involved in all of the chores around the camp because it’s the boredom that gets to you.

“If you don’t get picked for a challenge or a trial just make sure you help out.”

The I’m A Celebrity line-up is normally kept under wraps until the night, and each new series begins in November.

The programme, which kicks off this week and the identity of some of this year’s celebrity contestants appears to have been leaked.

Eight famous faces rumoured to feature on this year’s show were seen at a photoshoot together recently. These include Vernon Kay and Russell Watson.
