International Women’s Day is on the approach and while stamping out inequality, breaking down gender boundaries and celebrating the achievements of women is something we should be doing everyday, the 8th of March marks the date of the year where the spotlight is shone even more brightly on these important issues.
It’s a day where we take stock and clear a space to talk openly and honestly about the progress that’s been made and the work that still needs to be done. But alongside speaking out, you can make a statement in smaller ways, too.
Enter feminist nails – a subtle (or not so subtle) nod to the sisterhood. They may feature tiny slogans across each fingertip, but they make a much bigger declaration.
The bolder, the better, and folk have already gone to town on decking out their nails with provoking (rather than provocative) designs that recapture what ‘ladylike’ really means.
