As if Felicity Hayward wasn’t already goals, she’s surpassed herself with her latest post to promote body positivity ahead of her appearance in Naked Beach.
In her latest Instagram post, Felicity has gone topless and covered most of her body with a beautiful (temporary) butterfly tattoo, sending a powerful message about self love.
Felicity will star in Channel 4’s new series, Naked Beach, which will see contestants embark on a mission to find their self esteem in the nude.
In the caption, Felicity explained: ‘The statement that Self Love, Brings Beauty has been something which has resonated for me for years.
‘We weren’t born full of hate for ourselves or others, society has changed us by what we are viewing in media, or what beauty or body trend is currently popular. In a life of social media filled with photoshop and unrealistic beauty standards we really do have a body image crisis on our hands.’
Felicity said how 70% of people in the UK have body image issues, which leads to low self-esteem and lack of confidence.
Confirming her appearance on Naked Beach, the model continued: ‘Myself and a host of other body confident babes will be helping individuals on their journey of understanding their bodies and their journey of self love.
‘Once you understand that there are no two humans on the planet are the same, you realise you can aspire to be the best version of yourself, not someone else.
‘So here we are naked, on the telly, suns out, bums out and hoping to make a difference to people’s lives.’
Felicity added: ‘In my opinion life is too short to listen to other people’s views on your body, you must enjoy your life to the fullest, but in order for that you need to feel that love from within, I hope we can help you with that.’
The Naked Beach starts on Channel 4 on 11 April.
