Jordanian organisation FATE Esports has become the latest esports entity to partner with Swiss-based SportsTech company Blocksport in developing a mobile app.

Speaking on the partnership, Mohammad Majali, FATE’s CEO and Founder, commented: “We are very excited to join forces with Blocksport.Io, one of the best smart sports ecosystems in the market today. Blocksport gives us the opportunity to engage with our fanbase and supporters through gamified experiences and rewards.”

According to the release, FATE has become the first Middle East esports organisation to commit to gamified fan engagement. Through Blocksport’s platform, the application will enable FATE to strengthen its engagement activations by allowing fans to influence “club related decisions within polls”.

Additionally, the app will provide fans with team-related fan games, whilst FATE and its sponsors will offer discounts and experiences.

Since being founded in 2017 the Jordanian organisation has branched out into many sectors of the esports industry, this includes team management, player scouting, event organisation, live broadcast, and talent management. The partnership will look to provide an app that can continue to build FATE’s brand awareness to new and existing fans alike.

Vladimir Liulka, Blocksport’s Co-Founder and CEO added: “We are delighted to have signed with FATE Esports, one of the most innovative and forward-thinking esports organisations in the Middle East region. Welcome on board, guys!”

FATE becomes the latest esports organisation to join Blocksport’s growing portfolio of partners with the firm recently striking deals with Virtus.pro and PENTA this year alone.

Esports Insider says: Fan engagement mobile applications is yet another service looking to create closer bonds between esports organisations and its community. Blocksport and FATE’s partnership will strengthen the esports organisation’s fanbase in Europe and the Middle East as long as the content and rewards available entice its audience.
