Fast and Furious stars Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson have officially ended their feud.

The pair began battling it out on social media in 2017 when the former model called The Rock out for getting his own spin-off film, Hobbs & Shaw.

However, Tyrese confirmed the former co-stars have buried the hatchet during an appearance on Stir Crazy with Josh Horowitz.

The former model explained: ‘Me and The Rock peaced up, by the way. We talked for, like, four hours about three weeks ago. It was great.’

The Signs of Love Making singer added: ‘What’s interesting about the Fast & Furious is: It’s not about any of us individually. We’re like the UN at this point.

‘Everyone gets to go to the theatre and say, “He and she looks like me.”‘

As for whether his character Roman might get his own spin-off, Tyrese explained: ‘I just could not make it about me. That’d be really strange.’

In 2017 the actor publicly hit out at Dwayne for moving the release date of the ninth film.

Tyrese was not happy about this and pubished on Instagram: ‘#PSA Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41 for making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU – And like you, DJ even if they call I will not be deleting this post – Gn folks see you in 2020 April #FastFamily right?

‘Nah….. it’s about #TeamDewayne #3yrs will it be worth the wait? #NoShaw just Hobbs will this be another #BayWatch? Guys guys just relax I’m just a passionate film critic.’

The Rock previously spoke out on the feud and explained on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen how the whole thing was ‘disappointing’.

He said: ‘That whole thing with Tyrese, it was pretty disappointing because I had been friends with Tyrese for a very long time. I always feel like a beef requires two people to actually jump in it, and it was pretty one-sided and he had voiced his opinion a lot on social media.

‘Apparently, he was going through some stuff, too, in his personal life. But, no, we haven’t talked and I don’t see where we would and, to me, there’s no need to have a conversation.’

We’re just glad they managed to clear the air.
