Farrah Abraham’s mom Debra slams ‘boring’ Teen Mom ahead of premiere: ‘I hate what it’s become’

FARRAH Abraham’s mom Debra Danielsen has slammed Teen Mom OG for being “old and boring” ahead of the upcoming season.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, the ex Teen Mom OG star revealed she “hates” what’s become of the MTV series.

Debra’s daughter was fired from the show in 2017 because of her return to the adult film industry and treatment of the crew.

The grandma said of the series: “The format is tired. Of course ratings went down. There is nothing interesting over there.

“How many times can you watch people sit on the couch, lay on the bed, get pregnant? It’s old and boring.”

Debra explained how when her family was on the show, they brought an interesting storyline.

She said: “Farrah and I were always doing things. We looked for properties, we tried to change the world somehow.”

Although Debra would return to the series “in a heartbeat,” it would only be if production would “listen to what Farrah wants to do.”

She explained: “Neither one of us are interested in destroying our family with drama. We would want a reality TV series showing our real lives and how life is evolving. We would be able to show what’s real.”

After Farrah’s firing, Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd joined the series.

Bristol quit after one season, claiming the series “took away [her] peace.”

Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie McKee replaced her mid-season, joining Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Cheyenne.

Teen Mom OG, which is set to air in early 2020, will feature Amber’s domestic violence arrest, Maci ’s baby daddy drama with Ryan Edwards and more.

Since the show, Farrah, who is mom to daughter Sophia, 10, has been attending events, taking lavish vacations, focusing on scripted work and running her YouTube channel.

As for Deb, she has been working on her music career.

She recently teamed up with Siesta Key star Camilla Cattaneo to film the music video for her song Clawed Doves.

Her upcoming song Comments features Brandon Gomes, another Siesta Key star.
