For the second week running, Manchester City welcome one of the early season strugglers to the Etihad and De Bruyne has sat out of their midweek Champions League fixture, making him well-fancied to avoid Pep Guardiola’s rotation and score big.
Fulham have improved of late and have an almost entirely different defence from the one which shipped 10 goals in their first three games but City rarely come unstuck against relegation-threatened teams at the Etihad and should win comfortably.
Vardy has the opportunity to put things right this weekend when he visits Sheffield United. As a Wednesday fan, he will be especially motivated to make his mark at Bramall Lane, just as he did in the corresponding fixture last season.

Back to City, whose fixtures are too good to ignore. Other than De Bruyne, it is difficult to pick out an attacking asset who can be trusted to start but Sergio Aguero’s struggles with a knee injury make Jesus a relatively safe bet.
Jesus only played the late stages of Tuesday’s goalless draw with Porto and saw a goal disallowed for a marginal offside, as he did in the 5-0 win over Burnley last week. Currently with very low ownership, he could reward those who jump on early.
Leeds’ trip to Chelsea could be the match of the weekend for many reasons, as a promising attack meets a stubborn defence. Marcelo Bielsa’s side are tearing up all the underlying numbers but need to start converting chances.
Raphinha may help with that. The new signing from Rennes scored the decisive goal in last week’s win at Everton, already looks like the best investment among their midfielders and is priced at just £5.4m.
