Fantasy football scout tips gameweek 25: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Roberto Firmino, Adama Traore and more

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been easily forgotten about this season, given the value in mid-price forwards, but the Arsenal striker is starting to turn heads having returned from suspension.

Mikel Arteta’s side start a decent run of fixtures away at Burnley this weekend and Turf Moor is not the fortress many think. Aubameyang, meanwhile, has seven goals in four appearances against the Clarets.

Roberto Firmino

Roberto Firmino is still waiting to score his first league goal at Anfield this season, despite his impressive scoring record on the road. It is a run that has to end soon, surely?

Southampton appeared to have improved until that collapse against Wolves last time out, and are unlikely to show much resistance against the runaway league leaders.

Jack Grealish

If ever the term ‘talisman’ applied to a player, it is Jack Grealish. Aston Villa’s best results tend to come when Grealish is on form and firing and their captain continues to offer steady returns.

Villa travel to Bournemouth this weekend in a true relegation six-pointer and, despite playing in midweek, will surely be buoyed by reaching the Carabao Cup final.

Adama Traore

This column is very late to Adama Traoré but, after three assists in his last two games, his form and promising link-up play with the excellent Raul Jimenez is undeniable.

Traoré’s £5.8m price is nice and low too, while the prospect of him up against an inconsistent Manchester United at Old Trafford will have many expecting returns from the winger.

Enda Stevens

The Sheffield United defence has been a cheap and stable source of points all season long and their run of upcoming fixtures promises yet more returns.

Their adventurous full-backs are of particular interest and while George Baldock is popular, Enda Stevens is an enticing differential pick at around 2% ownership.

Honourable mentions: Dean Henderson, Matt Ritchie, Mohamed Salah, Aaron Mooy, Sergio Aguero
