Fans react as Lil Durk’s UK shows sell out in minutes

Demand for tickets to Lil Durk’s upcoming UK tour prompted both elation and frustration among fans of the Chicago rapper this morning (December 10) as two of his three scheduled live dates sold out in mere minutes.

Durk will perform in the UK and Europe early next year for the first time since 2016, where he’ll play in support of his August-released ‘Love Songs 4 The Streets 2’ album.

Tickets for Durk’s shows in London (Troxy, February 1), Manchester (Academy, February 2) and Birmingham (O2 Institute, February 5) went on sale earlier this morning, with fans snapping up admission to the London and Birmingham shows in minutes. Tickets remain on sale for the Manchester date.

Durk tweeted his appreciation of the London show selling out this morning, writing: “Bro London love me like I’m from there.”

There was, however, plenty of frustration from fans who were unable to secure tickets to the sold-out shows this morning. Check out a range of the fan reactions below.

There looks to be another chance for Durk’s London fans to grab tickets to see the artist, though. Promoters Mensah Entertainment told their followers on Instagram that they’re working on finalising two more Lil Durk gigs at the Troxy in London.
