Fallout 76 update for March 13 patch notes, server maintenance, Wild Appalachia news

Wild Appalachia will be Fallout 76’s first major story update in 2019 and is still scheduled to land later this week.

The new Fallout 76 update has been delayed but the good news is that Bethesda has only moved the launch by one day.

So fans should be checking out all the new content in less than 24-hrs, and won’t be facing a lengthy delay.

As detailed by Bethesda earlier this month, the Wild Appalachia expansion will be split into several updates, most of which will be going live in March.

The first of these content update is set to go live tomorrow, March 13, and will contain the new Brewing and Distilling crafting system and quests.

This will be followed by a new event that will go live on PS4, Xbox and PC next week, followed by the Survival Mode launch on March 26.

New quests will then be added in April, followed by the release of a new Legendary Vendor and a new faction to join.

FALLOUT 76 MARCH UPDATE TIME AND RELEASE COUNTDOWN

We now know that the next Fallout 76 March update will not arrive until tomorrow, a delay of one day.

Bethesda has yet to confirm when the new patch will be going live but have confirmed that there will be maintenance downtime.

Based on what has happened in the past, we believe it would be a good bet that Bethesda will need to take the game offline for an extended period of time.

There’s a lot of new gear and crafting systems being added to the game, so it will probably mean a couple of hours of server downtime.

No update time has been announced yet, but maintenance will begin at around 2pm, with the patch going live afterwards.

Before anything happens, Bethesda will share a notification confirming their full plan. Patch notes will be shared after the Fallout 76 maintenance is complete.

FALLOUT 76 PATCH NOTES

Patch 7 will contain a range of bugfixes and will also add a new crafting system to the game.

The Brewing Station is a workbench that you’ll learn to construct during the ‘Wasted on Nukashine’ quest.

This crafting station can be placed in your C.A.M.P. and is used to create a variety of adult beverages, including beers, cocktails, wines, and spirits.

These items will bring temporary buffs and will also each bring a drawback, according to Bethesda.

“Some drinks, such as wines and spirits, require additional fermentation time before they’re ready to be served at your next shindig, and their effects will become even more potent the longer you allow them to ferment.

“During ‘Wasted on Nukashine’, you’ll also learn to craft the Fermenter. Build one of these in your C.A.M.P. and place drinks within to reduce the wait time needed to try your latest creations.”

Other notable changes being made in Patch 7 include increasing the durability of many energy and heavy weapons, as well as their damage output.

This should make it easier to take down enemies and spend less time repairing, and more time looting.

EARLY PATCH NOTES

C.A.M.P. and Workshop Budget Adjustments: In Patch 7, we’re planning to make adjustments to the C.A.M.P. and Workshop budget system that should allow you to build even bigger and fancier Wasteland abodes.

C.A.M.P. Placement Adjustments: Occasionally, when we bring new content to the game, it may need to be placed somewhere that was previously used as a C.A.M.P. location. We can’t have C.A.M.P.s and quests occupying the same space, and while we do our best to limit these cases, sometimes it’s unavoidable.

Challenge Tracking: With Patch 7, we want to make challenges easier to keep an eye on as you make progress toward completing them, so you always know when that next reward will be on its way into your pocket.
