Welcome back, Fake Nunes fans. We’re here for the final home game of this strange Syracuse Orange ACC Basketball season so let’s see if the Orange can get momentum on the road to Greensboro

Opponent: Clemson Tigers

Location: Clemson, SC

Students: 25,822 students who aren’t mentally ready to root for the Jacksonville Jaguars

The 2020-21 Fake Nunes Equation of Tumult (#FNET)

You wanted something more ridiculous than RPI and the NCAA gave you NET. We give you more ridiculousness so we’re bringing back a revised FNET metric.

Head Coach Bench Attire and Mask:

Brad Brownell is a typical school administrator with his “Do as I say, not as I do” attitude.

NCAA Basketball: North Carolina at Clemson

Jim Boeheim has been IDGAF all year with the mask mandate. Not sure why Cuse went through the trouble to get him the clear mask.

Advantage: Push

NBA 2K Playability:

Teams that win through defense are horrible selections for videogames.

Advantage: Syracuse

Basketball Program Hashtag:

#ClemsonGrit vs None

Ted Cruz: fighter for the working man approves of the Clemson hashtag. I

Advantage: Clemson

ACC Social Media Favorites:

Aamir Simms vs Marek Dolezaj

Two veteran players go toe-to-toe in this one. There’s not much to dislike about either of these guys but it’s Marek’s “final” home game (maybe?) so he gets this one

Advantage: Syracuse

Boeheim Jacket Mask Toss Meter

NCAA Basketball: Syracuse at Georgia Tech

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

8.9/10 Jim’s temper has been reaching a strong simmer the last couple of games. Buddy’s been getting away with a lot of warding off on his drives so when he finally gets called for one watch for the eruption.

Prediction:

Bad news- Syracuse games have been pretty ugly recently, especially at the start. Good news- this game starts at 5 so all drinking is socially acceptable. Better news- the post-game drinks will be in celebration, not despair. Good Orange people win by 5.
