F1 Pro Draft: These talented racers will compete in 2019 F1 esports series


He joins a team that also features Cedric Thome and former Formula Renault Eurocup race Jarno Opmeer.

Making their pick next were Haas who took Floris Wijers, a PS4-using Dutchman, who will likely partner a returning Martin Stefanko.

Williams were next to make their pick, taking British racer Isaac Price who had a sensational battle for second on the road in his day 1 race. He had been formerly affiliated with Williams before leaving, but now he is back with the famous old team and hoping to beat George Russell to the F1 podium.

Red Bull were then on the clock and took sensational Frenchman Nicolas Longuet who claimed victory in the first race of day 1.

2019 Formula 1 New Balance Esports Pro Series Dates

The 10 new drivers will join their teams and begin preparation for 2019 Pro Series. A grueling test of nerves and speed that will comprise of 12 races over 4 live events.

The first event will be on 11 September, followed by one on 2 October, 6 November, and the Grand Finale on 4 December, all at the Gfinity Arena in London.

This year’s Pro Draft saw an incredible 109,000 players attempt to qualify, and thanks to that interest qualification of the 2020 Series will launch earlier than ever.

How to qualify for F1 Esports Pro Series

Qualification for next years Series will open on the remarkable F1 2019 game on 22 July and feature 5 different qualifying rounds between July and November across all platforms. This will allow gamers to shine across different tracks and scenarios and opens the door to many more up-and-coming racers.

The competition was fierce this year, but with a bigger window to try to qualify for 2020 F1 esports is only set to grow and grow.
