“We both signed it so we knew we would stick to it, no excuses.”

Others went into further detail, mapping out doctor’s appointments, date nights and even gym schedules.

The couple drew up a routine for who would take their daughter to appointments to who can pick up Amazon orders.

“We both having extremely demanding jobs, and it just helps bring some clarity to the insanity that is parenthood.”

She said there’s “no negotiation” on the schedule, but the couple can trade if necessary.

The idea is causing a stir online, with some people thinking that a ‘baby-nup’ shows couples aren’t ready for baby, while others called it sensible.

Kicking off the debate, someone tweeted: “Would you sign a baby-nup with your partner pre-marriage?

“So if you have kids together, there are rules set out and an agreed custody in place in case the marriage goes t*** up and things get ugly.”

The issue has split opinion, with one person saying: “Until you’ve lived it, it’s really hard to know who will need extra support with what and when i.e. it’s hard to plan for postpartum.

“Sometimes one partner will need to carry the other.”

Another said: “I don’t believe in prenups or baby-nups.

“When people get married it shouldn’t be based on the fact in case we split you should be thinking ‘this is the one through sickness and health, good or bad’.

“Those negative actions are already anticipating the worst.”

A third thought: “It sounds good in theory. But so many circumstances could change by the time you have a baby or get divorced.

“Custody agreements made before marriage may not work years down the road.”

Agreeing, this person tweeted: “It’s called being a parent.

“Either embrace every good, and wonderful and annoying thing that comes with it. Or don’t have kids.”

Someone else added: “If you need a written document to raise a baby with your partner, you are too immature to raise children.”

Others called it a “great idea” and “sensible”, but others said children aren’t a “chore”.

And people were shocked to discover UK kids spend less time outside than prisoners.

Meanwhile this mum revealed she only shops for kid’s clothes twice a year.

While this furious mum slammed her son’s school for returning the ‘healthy’ sausage rolls she packed for his lunch – with others stepping in to agree.
