EXO celebrated their long-awaited comeback by hobnobbing with Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds at an event for the star’s latest film.
The nine-piece group were down to six members – Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun, as Xiumin and D.O. complete their military service – in an Instagram picture which saw them posing with the suited Deadpool actor, which Sehun posted on his page.
EXO met with Ryan and his fellow Underground 6 co-stars – including Melanie Laurent and Adria Arjona – at a green carpet event at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in downtown Seoul.
Sehan also posted a picture of the boy band posing with Ryan, Melanie and Adria. Director Michael Bay and producer Ian Bryce were also in attendance at the special event.
The upcoming high-octane Netflix film follows a tech billionaire who fakes his own death and recruits a team of international operatives for a bold and bloody mission to take down a brutal dictator. Bay’s action thriller will be available to stream on Netflix 13 December.
K-pop icons EXO recently delighted fans with the release of their Obsession video, five months since member D.O. left the group to begin his mandatory military enlistment. Xiumin is also currently serving, while Lay has been flying solo in China.
Earlier this year, the boys were busy hanging out with Stranger Things stars Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo. Wearing traditional dress, the band posed for the photo which was later shared by Caleb, who thanked the group for looking after them as they spent time promoting the new season of their hit Netflix series.
The boy band have been promoting their highly-anticipated sixth studio album Obsession, which has dominated the iTunes charts since its release last week.
It’s their first album since the release of Don’t Mess Up My Tempo and the repackage album Love Shot last year.
