Ex On The Beach star Chanelle McCleary has told fans she is finding Mother’s Day hard this year, after suffering a miscarriage in the last few months.

Chanelle had announced her pregnancy in January, but confirmed a month later that she had lost her baby after suffering complications, in a heartbreaking post she shared to Instagram.

Remembering her ‘angel baby’ on Sunday, Chanelle candidly told fans that she was finding it difficult being on social media on Mother’s Day and that she misses being pregnant.

Alongside a picture of her from when she was expecting, Chanelle said: ‘It’s hard watching social media today, i miss my bump ? miss the feeling of growing my own little human inside me & feeling all that love already even though you haven’t met.’

She continued: ‘I miss the excitement, miss the content feeling, it’s hard to not feel sad especially on a day like today but I’m remembering you today & everyday & one day we will meet & have a rainbow baby ❤️.

‘Sending love to everyone who has an angel baby, an angel mummy or an angel nanny, they will be looking down on us & by our sides forever.’

Fans flooded Chanelle’s post with messages of support, while Love Island star Emma Jane Woodhams commented: ‘Sending so much love to you.’

In her initial post about her miscarriage, Chanelle had said: ‘We are both devastated and loved our little baby so much already.

‘My heart felt complete knowing I had you and the love I felt instantly was indescribable but I try to tell myself that God has a plan and something just wasn’t right.

‘I am feeling a million different emotions right now and deep deep sadness, I just want to wake up and it all not be real.

‘I cannot wait to be a mummy, it is something I have wanted for so long, we are going to try again and I give that we are blessed with a healthy little one soon. For now we are taking time out to heal.

‘Thank you to everyone for your love and support. Please keep us in your prayers for conceiving in the near future and finding hope again. Little baby McCleary you are gone but we will never ever forget you. Love mummy and daddy.’

Chanelle announced her engagement to fiance Rich on Valentine’s Day in February 2019, after he proposed during a romantic trip to Venice.
