Channel 10 has not made any formal announcement about The Bachelorette, nor has New Idea provided details about the source of the leak.
However the magazine claimed ‘it’s a secret TV bosses have been desperate to hide’.
An unnamed ‘close family member’ was also quoted as saying that Angie is looking to find a man who shares her passion for animals.

They said: ‘She loves her family and loves her dogs. If she finds a man who hates dogs he’d be out straight away.’
Angie rose to fame in 2015 as one of the original cast members on Gogglebox Australia, alongside her housemate Yvie Jones.

Yvie, 45, has said several times in the past that her friend would make an excellent Bachelorette.
During a recent interview on Studio 10, she said: ‘I don’t have any inside goss, but I think it should happen! I’d like to be her wing woman [on the show].’
Angie herself has addressed the rumours, telling Yahoo Lifestyle in February that she’d be open to being ‘on the other side of the couch’ after quitting Gogglebox.

‘I’m definitely open to finding somebody. I just turned 29 so I’m not getting any younger! So, for sure,’ she said, adding that she’d be an ‘alright Bachelorette’.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel 10 and Angie’s representatives at Stage Addiction for comment.
