Everything you need to know about Love Island's new bombshell, Arabella Chi

At the end of last night’s episode, we found out there’s a new girl coming into the Love Island villa. We all saw Curtis whip off his sunglasses and cap in disbelief, so maybe she sneaks in and surprises him. Or… is it totally diabolical of us to kinda hope she’s an ex-girlfriend? We’ll find out at 9 o’clock tonight.

In the meantime, here’s what we know about Ms Arabella Chi, the newest bombshell to surrender her phone, her clothes and her life to find love in Mallorca.

She’s 28.

According to Amber, that’s practically ancient. Arabella says she knows what she wants in a man now that she’s in her late twenties, so we look forward to a little Maura-like confidence. Gotta love a woman who knows what she wants.

She’s a model/actor

Arabella’s CV is quite impressive. She’s appeared in two Hollywood blockbusters: Justice League and Wonderwoman. She played an Amazonian alongside Jason Mamoa (“oh my god, he’s so hot,” she says, naming him as her celebrity crush). She was also on a billboard on Oxford Street for G Star last year.

She’s dated a previous Islander (the same one as Lucie)

Arabella says she “dated Charlie Frederick for a time”. So! Did! Lucie! He was in last year’s Love Island for approximately five minutes, but he’s managed to get in relationships with both Arabella and Lucie. Again, diabolical, but is it bad we’re praying for a little drama?

She’s friends with a previous Islander

One of her best mates is Montana Brown. She’s modelled for her swimwear range, Swim Society, and Montana says she snuck a load of her bikinis into Arabella’s suitcase.

She’s got her eye on Danny and Michael

Bad news for Yewande and Amber: Arabella isn’t interested in any of the single guys in the villa. She’s keen on Danny and Michael, who are both currently coupled up. “So I would definitely talk to the girls first. In an ideal world I would like to take them out of the villa so they can tell me where they are at. It’s the nature of the show that you have to tread on toes,” she said. “I’m not going to go for the single guys because they’re not for me.”

Oof. Get her in that villa!

Love Island is on every night at 9pm on ITV2.
