Never one to opt for a predictable red carpet dress, Eva Green – who’s signature style has become synonymous with dark colours and a touch of gothic allure – opted for a sequinned green dress for the premiere of Tim Burton’s live action Disney remake of Dumbo at Curzon Mayfair cinema in London on March 21.

Green, who plays a trapeze artist in the remake, wore the Alexandre Vauthier dress paired with black Louboutin shoes and a Jessica McCormack ring. The Parisian served up a lesson in how to perfectly offset a green dress with a red lip, too.
Directed by Burton and due for UK release on March 29, the animated remake, starring Nico Parker and Colin Farrell, recounts the tale of two children who care for a young elephant with huge ears. The film sees Burton and Green collaborate for the third time, having previously worked together on Dark Shadows and Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children.
“He [Tim Burton] is so easy to work with,” Green told Vogue in 2016. “The wonderful thing about Tim is that he has no ego. He is very kind, normal and fragile. There is something equal with him that I love. Even working with the children he was like ‘What do you think? How do you feel?’ which is so nice. He’s so open to ideas as well. He’s wonderful and amazing.”
