Eva Amurri welcomes third child with ex Kyle Martino after revealing he wouldn't be at the delivery


Eva Amurri and husband Kyle Martino announced their split back in November.

It came just months after the couple revealed that they were pregnant with their third child.

And she welcomed the newborn baby boy Friday afternoon, according to a newsletter from her mommy blog Happily Eva After.

The 34-year-old wrote: ‘Kyle, Marlowe, Major, and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our littlest love: Mateo Antoni Martino.’ 

She added: ‘He arrived safely & sweetly at home, March 13th at 3:58pm, weighing 7 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches long.

‘Our hearts are so full! Thank you for the well wishes, and I look forward to sharing more soon!’ 

Amurri recently revealed that Martino, 39, would not be present for the birth of their son.

She wrote last week on Happily Eva After: ‘Birth is so emotional, and so I knew early on that having Kyle there wasn’t going to feel right to me.

‘Our intimacy level has totally changed now that we aren’t a couple, obviously, and in order to really let go and allow labor to progress (especially with a home birth) it’s so important to feel completely at ease in your body and support.’

She added that their other children will be in the room, as well as her doula, midwives and some female friends, and Martino would meet his son immediately after the birth. 

The couple announced their split on Instagram in November, writing: ‘After a lot of thoughtful consideration, and work on our relationship, we have made the difficult decision to lovingly part ways as a couple.

Amurri married the former pro soccer player on October 29, 2011 at a ceremony in Charleston, South Carolina, hosted by her mom Susan Sarandon.

In addition to Mateo, the couple also shares daughter Marlowe, five, and son Major, three.
