Eurovision 2020: ‘So disappointing’ UK entry slammed as James Newman revealed as performer

My Last Breath is inspired by a documentary about a driver in the North Sea who was saved after being cut off from his crew.

“It got us thinking about what you would do for other people,” James remarked.

Last year’s entry for the UK, Michael Rice, ended in last place at the Song Contest in Tel Aviv when he received just 16 points.

Michael had blamed the result on Brexit telling The Sun: “I always knew I was going to come in this position because of Brexit.

“Do you know what? If it was Gary Barlow or Elton John, they still probably would have come last too.”
