ESL has announced the return of its Mobile Open event – a $400K USD competition spread across four games. The full list of titles from Season 5 returns including Asphalt 9: Legends, Auto Chess, Clash of Clans, and PUBG MOBILE. Details regarding the competition finals will be revealed at a later date.
The ESL Mobile open is an initiative organized in partnership with AT&T designed to offer competitive opportunities to amateur mobile gamers. According to a release, the competition saw significant growth during Season 5, with broadcast hours watched up 204% compared to Season 4. Participation also grew by 48%, and the program surpassed 1M total participants since its launch in March 2019.
