ESL has expanded the European edition of its Mobile Open to include the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for Season 2. The move builds upon the Mobile Open’s first season success, wherein more than 500K players participated.
As with its North American counterpart, the ESL Mobile Open consists of online tournaments for multiple mobile games including Asphalt 9, Auto Chess, Clash of Clans, and PUBG Mobile. Season 2 will feature an €85K ($100.2K USD) prize pool.
Notably, Season 2 will not have a presenting sponsor. Season 1 featured Vodafone as a presenting partner, and the North American ESL Mobile Open is presented by AT&T.
