Erling Haaland was at his lethal best once again as Borussia Dortmund took a 2-1 lead in their Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain.

Haaland scored twice in the second half, with Neymar getting one back for the Ligue 1 giants before they head back to home soil for the second leg.

The Norwegian striker was targeted by Manchester United in the January transfer window but opted to move to Bundesliga outfit Dortmund and he has maintained the remarkable form he showed at Red Bull Salzburg.

His two goals on Tuesday night were his ninth and 10th strikes in the Champions League this season – a record for a debutant in the competition.

He has also reached 10 goals in Europe’s premier competition four games faster than anyone in its history.

No other Bundesliga player has ever scored 11 goals in their first seven games at a club, while he is the first Borussia Dortmund star to score on his debut in the Bundesliga, DFB Polak and Champions League.

His performances certainly aren’t going unnoticed, and it’s expected he won’t be sticking around at Dortmund for too long if he continues in this ridiculous streak of scoring form.

‘He scores every type of goal… he’s just got that knack. You can’t coach that. He knows where the ball is going to be,’ former Tottenham Hotspur midfifelder Jermaine Jenas told BT Sport.

‘He might be 19 but he’s a lethal finisher, he really is,’ Manchester United hero Owen Hargreaves added.
